n Engineering Inc. was retained in 2014 to provide civil engineering services for the development of a car wash facility on a 0.62-acre site in Beeton, Ontario. The scope of work included site servicing, stormwater management design justification, as well as construction review services.
A key challenge associated with the project involved demonstrating the adequacy of the proposed sanitary servicing strategy and justifying the discharge of sewage flows to the municipal sewer system. Additional coordination and technical analysis were required to satisfy municipal requirements related to the stormwater management design and ensure compliance with applicable servicing standards.
n Engineering Inc. developed practical and effective servicing solutions that addressed these challenges while supporting the operational requirements of the development. n Architecture Inc., supported the project through the Site Plan Approval and Building Permit stages. Both teams worked closely together to secure necessary engineering approvals while maintaining consistency with the overall design intent.
Construction commenced in 2020, with n Engineering Inc. providing regular construction review services, including site inspections, progress monitoring, and coordination with the project team to ensure quality control and compliance throughout the construction process. The project was successfully completed in 2021.
